We have an opportunity for Lifeguard and Customer Support roles within our Leisure Centres in our North and West location clusters*. 
As a Network Team Member, you will be able to:
•    assist and look after pool users to ensure health and safety standards are upheld
•    provide customers and colleagues with accurate information on pool policies, and aquatic safety
•    have the opportunity to pick up more shifts by taking on additional roles such as Customer Support 
•    flex your hours up or down to suit your availability week-to-week

You’ll be joining a team who are passionate about inspiring Aucklanders to be more active. Ideally you would have:


•    previous experience as a Lifeguard (advantageous)
•    proven ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
•    the willingness to train to upskill

Our centres are open 7 days a week so flexibility will be key, with early morning shifts from 5:00 am and late shifts up to 10:00 pm as well as weekends.


*Locations: Albany, Birkenhead, East Coast Bays (Browns bay), Glenfield, Stanmore Bay, Takapuna, Tepid Baths (City centre), Westwave (Henderson).
Please note, this role requires attendance of short, mandatory training sessions so availability is essential. If you do not hold a current PLPC lifeguard qualification you will also need to be available to attend a 3-day PLPC course provided by Council.
