The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Catchment Managers to join us!

Auckland’s water quality is at the forefront of everyone’s mind and we need a champion who will be responsible for preparing and reviewing stormwater management plans to meet Healthy Waters objectives and other key stakeholder objectives. You will be the subject matter expert leading the business case development of robust, buildable and affordable solutions to growth issues and asset renewals. You’ll also lead on growth related planning, including spatial priority and future urban areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with Watercare, Auckland Transport, Parks, developers and other infrastructure providers to develop effective solutions in this space.

About you

You will have previous experience in stormwater management and relevant experience in three waters infrastructure sector or equivalent. You’ll also have proven experience in project management and implementing a range of stormwater management techniques including engineered stormwater management, sustainable urban design, hydrology and environmental performance of stormwater systems.

With an engineering or science background, you’ll bring your stakeholder management skills and thorough knowledge of hydrology and water sensitive design to this role.
