AUCKLAND'S TRANSPORTATION
Our transportation system is facing transformational change. Transportation is considered to be a major concern and is of massive public interest to Aucklanders.
Addressing a history of car dependency, Auckland’s transport programme seeks to promote public transport, cycling and active modes of transport.
NEW ZEALANDS LARGEST CITY
Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city and its global gateway. The government and Auckland Council will invest $28 billion in transport infrastructure over the next 10 years, the largest transport investment made in Auckland.
