He angitūtanga: The opportunity

The role of the Instructional Designer is to consult with stakeholders and business partners to identify each business unit’s training demand through the analysis, design, development and evaluation of training and development initiatives. The role specialises in turning approved training requests into expertly designed learning assets that can be either implemented through instructor-led delivery, digital learning or other social forms of learning. The role is accountable for preparing trainers and digital developers for successful implementation of learning activities

He kōrero mōu: About you

It is essential that you have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in instructional design with a proven record of producing blended learning programmes. Hands-on experience in the analysis, design and delivery of learning solutions is paramount for this role. Your comprehensive knowledge of adult learning principles, education methods, and modern delivery tools and techniques is a desirable asset to bring into the team.

Since this role will be involved in Instructional design and course development for a range of modes (e.g. individualised, group, online, print-based, multimedia) with a focus on digital / online learning, your expertise in managing and communicating to stakeholders to build trust and influence, as well as delivering innovative solutions in a changing environment will also be heavily put into practice.

Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday; you will have flexibility with how those hours are set. Some of our people begin early, some stay later, and remote working is an option too.
