Our iconic venues - which include the Aotea Centre, The Civic, Bruce Mason Centre, Queens Wharf and Auckland Town Hall - are our stages for presenting a programme of live arts and entertainment for the enjoyment and inspiration of Aucklanders and visitors to the city.  With over 60 sixty versatile spaces to suit any occasion, facilitating and delivering exceptional events is our passion.
Auckland Live is seeking a Senior Set-up Supervisor who will be at the heart of the live experience – duties will include the hands on day-to-day running of events, the setting up and breaking down, while also leading and developing a team of direct reports by
mentoring, training, and achieving KPI’s to
ensure our clients and customers have an unforgettable experience.
He kōrero mōu: About you

To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience of at least two years as a supervisor in a similar role.  A background in logistics or hospitality would be advantageous but is not essential.  An excellent communicator with a strong customer focus, you have a natural ability towards problem-solving.  You will possess business administration skills and can set up and maintain new processes and procedures with ease. 
You'll be able to remain calm and focused under pressure and be able to coach others to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours, and 'lead through doing'.


Please note that as this role includes heavy lifting it would suit a physically fit individual who enjoys hands-on tasks. A full driver’s licence is also required as you will be required to work across our various venues.

This is a Permanent full-time position working 40 hours a week. As our events operate 7 days a week, you must be able to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday, after hours, and over public holidays.
