He Angitūtanga: The opportunity

Making meaningful connections is our philosophy when it comes to customer service. We want Aucklanders to be provided with the highest quality services, and to make this a reality we need an enthusiastic professional with great analytical capability. We want to make sure our managers across the parks, sport and recreation areas have the data analysis and business intelligence they need to best manage their workforce and operations.

Your role will be instrumental in this, as you lead the development and management of the workforce planning model for the department, and employ your sound communication skills in providing meaningful and fit for purpose business intelligence – that conveys findings and recommendations to support evidenced-based customer-centred decision making.

He kōrero mōu: About you

We’re looking for a professional with a background in and passion for data analysis, and solid experience in workforce modelling, planning and design. Naturally, you'll thrive in an environment that embraces a collaborative approach to continuous improvement, and proactively and keenly collaborate with both industry and internal partners.

Having operated at a senior business analyst level, you’ll have the ability to take raw data and turn it into enriched information and insight that is meaningful and accessible.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer

This is an influential role - you'll use data to help understand what Auckland’s care about and to influence the design of creative and progressive strategic plans to improve our service delivery to Aucklanders.

It’s an opportunity to make a role your own and develop a culture of continuous improvement that will transform Parks, Sport and Recreation services in Tāmaki Makaurau.
