He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

The Climate Action Solutions team have an awesome opportunity available for a talented and passionate project manager to join the team. You will help develop and grow FutureFit, our industry-leading website and staff engagement programme that helps people find out their carbon footprint and take climate action. You will also help deliver on the goals of Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland's Climate Plan.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You will be passionate about assisting Aucklanders and businesses to reduce their carbon emissions. Your knowledge and experience with digital solutions will enable you support the team to deliver on its targets and help us to continually innovate and proactively engage with our audiences.

 

You will be an all-rounder; someone who can lead the FutureFit project, coordinate and motivate various workstreams and contributing team members, while also delivering various aspects of the project including tasks like onboarding new corporate clients, creating staff engagement calendars and being across the detail. You will have a good understanding of the digital landscape and how we can build on the project.

 

You will also have:

 

The successful applicant will have strong project management skills, including experience in budget tracking, invoicing, performance, and evaluation. You will have experience working with corporates and organisations on staff engagement projects, and excellent relationship management skills.

 

You’ll be comfortable working at with a range of stakeholders, from internal steering groups to external clients.

 

You’ll be skilled in juggling competing priorities, and be able to zoom out or zoom in, depending on what the project needs.

 

You will have knowledge of Te Ao Māori and tikanga and/or a willingness to learn.
