Regulatory Services under the Auckland Council rōpū consists of planners, engineers, inspectors/processors, policymakers, trainers, project managers and so much more. He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an authentic, innovative, and capable Learning Development Advisor with the purpose of designing and embedding learning and development solutions for Regulatory Services. Building capability is a key pillar of our People Strategy, enabling those around us to flourish. 

 

This is more than a traditional classroom training role. We are looking for someone who can analyse learning needs, then provide advice and recommendations to ensure we are making the right investments in training and development to bring out the best in our people. The person in this role will be involved in designing and implementing Talent Management, Succession Pipeline and Performance Management programmes across Regulatory Services, as well as introducing new tools and initiatives to build learning culture and foster innovation through agile & growth mindset programmes.

 

You will collaborate with our leaders to give advice and support about employee development and career pathways. Your expertise in managing competency frameworks and adult learning theory, delivering learning solutions in innovative ways, and managing supplier relationships will enable us to provide development that will hit the spot.

He kōrero mōu: About you
With your comprehensive understanding of the L&D industry coupled with exceptional organizational, planning and execution skills. You will need at least 5 years of experience in a learning and development role in a commercial or government organisations with an ideal preference of having a tertiary qualification in training and development, adult learning or a relevant discipline.


You will have experience in training needs analysis, instructional design, e-learning development, delivery and evaluation learning solutions and OD programmes and initiatives
