He angitūtanga: The opportunity


This is a senior role working closely with the Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the Maritime Museum from people to procurement, health & safety and compliance. You’ll lead a team of up to 20, directly and indirectly. In this role, you’ll ensure the Museum operates effectively, while meeting key performance, financial and commercial targets.


This is an opportunity to get involved in projects which will shape Auckland’s future.


He kōrero mōu: About you


You will naturally possess excellent relationship management skills, able to relate to a range of stakeholders. In addition, your project management experience will be essential in this role as you will drive key projects to delivery and completion. You will also be able to demonstrate experience in managing teams, building and driving a strong team culture.

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We're a tight knit team, all working together to ensure our customers can experience Aotearoa's maritime heritage.
