He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Panuku Development Auckland provides three premier marinas in Auckland, for small boats through to super yachts. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Management, the Head of Marinas takes overall ownership and leadership of all marina operations at Westhaven, Silo and Viaduct Marinas. This is a senior leadership role that will require exceptional leadership skills as you’re managing quite a large team (8 direct reports, 15 indirect reports) and interfacing with the public as well as businesses that are run nearby. This role also manages all financial aspects of the marina operations including cash flow projections, budget management, forecasting and reporting. The Head of Marinas will need to stay abreast of activity in and around the marinas to ensure the smooth integration of activity including key projects and events with marina operations.

You are someone with at least 12 years’ senior management experience within a complex organisation and have a relevant marina management qualification. You have experience in managing business operations and enhancing business performance. You also have proven experience in business development and ongoing business improvement.
