He angitūtanga: The opportunity
The key purpose of this role is to provide a friendly, safe, and secure environment for customers and users of the marina 24 hours 7 days a week. You'll also be completing a wide range of operational tasks. This role is customer focused and requires a positive and flexible attitude to maintain Westhaven Marina's position as a premier marina facility and welcoming place for the community, visitors, and berth users. This will be shift work, five days on, three days off. Hours for the shift will be from 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Westhaven Marina reflects the City of Sails lifestyle and our marine and sailing culture. We provide a friendly, safe and secure environment for our customers and users of our facilities. You will be part of the marina team that offers access to world-class facilities for local boat owners and international boating visitors. You must have:


•    A great attitude
•    Experience or knowledge of the marine industry.
•    Ability to provide good customer service.
•    Willingness to operate as part of a tightknit team and the ability to work independently when required.
•    Full New Zealand driver license required.
•    Understanding of the health and safety regulations and how that applies to the Marine industry


***This role is deemed safety sensitive and in line with Panuku policy, you will be required to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing***
