He angitūtanga: The opportunity

We have two roles available for experienced Building Surveyors to join our teams based in West Auckland and North Auckland. 

 

You will be responsible for carrying out Building Inspections throughout the Auckland region and ensuring that compliance with the relevant legislative and safety requirements are met. You will travel around the region and have the autonomy to make decisions as well as the support needed to follow through to make sure that it is easy for our customers to do business with us. 

 

You will support clients from all sectors of the development community including builders, home owners, architects and developers so that they have the right guidance and advice on building in a compliant manner. 

This role is your opportunity to progress your career with the Building Consents department where you will promote a safe, healthy and sustainably built environment across the Auckland region.
 

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will ideally have a NZ Trade Certificate or equivalent related building industry qualification (or related discipline). Proven experience in building, surveying or inspection is desirable as well as strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and acute decision-making ability will compliment your professional approach and positive customer focus. A full, clean driving license is required for this role.
